Regarding #HTTP signatures used with #ActivityPub:

Is anyone aware of a #Fediverse platform, that uses something else instead of an RSA key with 2048 bits (using SHA256)?

#GoToSocial liefert mir in der #HTTP-#Signatur eine "algorithm"-Angabe "hs2019"... das mag ich mit #Mammuthus aktuell nicht, möchte da gern ein "rsa-sha256"...

Also mal schauen...

Interessanterweise hatte man bei #Friendica wohl vor einiger Zeit genau das gleiche Thema am Wickel... ;-)

Übrigens, zum Thema #ActivityPub und so...

Ich sehe hier #Mastodon-Instanzen, die "Add"- und "Remove"-Aktivitäten föderieren, die keine "id" enthalten...

Das mag meine Software aktuell nicht... und irgendwo meine ich mich dunkel zu erinnern, daß ein "id"-Feld eigentlich Pflicht wäre... grübel...

Immer wieder interessant, wie unterschiedlich #Software #ActivityPub interpretieren bzw. umsetzen kann.

Heute auf eine Update-Aktivität ohne weitere Informationen über die aktualisierten Felder gestossen. Was #Mammuthus bisher schlicht mit einem 400 quittiert hat.

Es ist aber offenbar zulässig, ein Objekt nur als Referenz beizufügen.
